Hi,

My bird is currently at the vet. She was having trouble breathing so I took her in on Friday. The vet said she was very sick, and is keeping her there to keep her stable.

Unfortunately she is not stable enough to do an xray, and has been eating and drinking very little. Currently she is being given antibiotics by the vet. It seems like there may be some sort of blockage as she is not pooing. However it is not a hard egg, from feeling her tummy.

I was wondering if anyone ever had a positive outcome in such circumstances. Am I being too hopeful?
