hey yall! my wife and i (wlw) have been planning on having a second child since last year, ive done EVERYTHING but bbt because it genuinely makes zero sense ( i tried for a few months but i was constantly randomly 'peaking' even during my period.) now where my question lies is with these testing devices, in the beginning (around august) all was fine with this device (the original device) i only ever got peak fertility ONCE since august, everything has been high and low. fast forward to march of this year i got high fertility for two weeks and no peak fertility i ran out of the test strips and after price checking decided to just buy the whole kit again (it's weirdly cheaper?) once i bought the kit the original (i read it best to keep the same testing device) will not read anything, it keeps saying look into the book, but nothing the book recommends is working to fix the issue, so i started using the one the second kit came with, for two months ive only gotten 'high' fertility no peak, i assumed i missed the day (it says the device can get confused and to start missing a day inbetween) and decided today (i started my period yesterday) to test my baseline fertility thinking maybe the device just doesnt know how to read me yet. low and behold i got a POSITIVE high fertility as im currently bleeding which obviously means that's impossible. as most of you know its HARD to find good information on why this is happening as everything automatically assumes there has been conception but it's obviously impossible for us. does anyone know what is going on? should i contact clear blue? i dont want to keep using these if their just not working correctly, but i also preferred these as its easier to see when the 'peak' and when fertility is just high. i use flo and fertility friend for charting, im 24, with no health issues and we already have one child. i know its not health related as i have been tested. do i have faulty devices? i can't imagine both are? im just feeling lost as we were supposed to do ici for the first time in two weeks but now im not so sure if its a good idea.
