Hi so im a ptf, I understand we have wierd rules and that contractually im only guaranteed 24 hours a week. However there are other stipulations. We hired tons of CCA's to get rid of overtime, and i am guaranteed 40 before they get thier guaranteed 2. The wording says that I have to be scheduled these 40 hours as well. My manager refuses to do so, and her response is that I just have to wait a pay period for the grevience. Every week im scheduled for 32-36 hours. Ive already spoken to nationals and they showed im right. My supervisor still refuses to do so claiming the local union president says otherwise (not even our president she is calling a different one). What are my options? Like i can grieve this literally every week, which i have no choice but to do currently, but there has to be some other way to escalate this. I just want what im owed. This is affecting my life because ill have a short check that can only be recovered from with the bigger one. I'm honestly furious about the situation and having to fight so hard for something clearly outlined in the contract. Please help!
