Been battling some plant anxiety all winter and moving into spring hasn’t alleviated it. Is my juniper dying? Can I save it?

It’s always been outdoors in full sun. Moved this winter from CA to PNW so there was definitely some stress and change. Gets water when nearly dry and/or when it rains.

Scratch tests show white/green. All the foliage is still soft. Branches are strong and pruning reveals more green. Am I stressing over winter bronzing or is something going on?

First time trying a root over rock situation and my primary concern is that the roots are dead. I’m hesitant to dig the plant up because I don’t want to introduce more stress.
