My workplace - which I have been at for five years and absolutely adore - has hired an individual that is known to me and with whom I had a bad experience (bullying). I had hoped this person had changed but i was recently contacted by someone who worked with him, and it seems that the bullying issues have only gotten worse as that person has risen in their career.

How do I handle this? FYI - they are not in my unit/reporting chain but I will be expected to collaborate with them on specific projects.
