This is the first time I've followed a space mission so closely and I love that I'm getting to experience a bit of the magic everyone felt during Apollo, so I made a painting to celebrate!

It's been so fulfilling to see something related to a moon mission receive such unanimous positivity and I hope that the next few missions bring us the same kind of joy and optimism!

Finally bit the bullet and bought one for my birthday.

One of the first things I did was make this little ink sketch of the moon.

As an artist, I can't wait to start doing plein air paintings through them! The constant moving and seeing effects is like normal outdoors paintings haha.
