I have a 2016 Honda Accord with 144k miles. The car completely died on me while driving, and I was told by a shop that it needs a new engine. The catalytic converter also needs to be replaced.

The car does have some damage, including rear fender damage and a cracked windshield. On the plus side, it has brand new tires, along with new brakes, calipers, and pads.

The shop has offered me $500 for the car, while I’ve received online offers around $1,500. I’m just trying to get a realistic idea of what it’s worth.
