What course do you guys recommend?

Studying Dip in Interactive Design at Newbridge Graduate Institute and considering switching to BA Information Design at UP. Wanted to get some opinions from people who've been through either.

My situation:

- Currently doing a Diploma in Interactive Design at Newbridge

- Want to switch to BA Information Design at UP

- My APS is 27 (UP requires 28 minimum)

- Long-term I want to work in branding, visual identity, and multimedia creative work

My questions:

  1. Is the BA Information Design at UP worth it compared to a design diploma?

  2. Has anyone transferred to UP ID from another institution — how did they handle the APS/admission?

  3. Would you recommend finishing the diploma first and then applying to UP as a graduate?

  4. How is the job market for UP ID graduates vs diploma holders in SA?

Any advice from people in the SA design industry or who've studied at UP would be appreciated.
