So, today I was leaving castlemungret centre and onto the dock Rd roundabout in Limerick, I guess I hadn't pushed in my seatbelt all the way and it came loose on the roundabout, I reacted badly and received 2 grade 3s for reaction and roundabout position less than two minutes after taking off, other than that, the tester said I did fairly well, but roundabouts and observations caught me a bit further on aswell. If this didnt happen I'm sure I would've passed, some of the other mistakes I made were pure stupidity due to my mood knowing id failed immediately.
What can I do to get a new test as quick as possible? I'm told I cant see cancellations until I receive an invite in 10 weeks, but I'm also told there's 2 weeks cooling off, then I can book again, and I'm told I'm on a priority waiting list too, what does any of this actually mean? It all seems to contradict, I've reapplied and paid, but 10 weeks is more than I even waited in the first place. I dont know what to do here? I have a job lined up in June, I kinda need to drive to it so I'm gutted.
Edit to add: I called the RSA today, spoke to a man who seemed much more knowledgeable about the exact way the current process worked. He told me that the reason I can't book cancellations yet is because the 15 day window hadn't passed, its a bit odd that you cant see them for after the 15 days anyways but this explains it. He reckoned after 15 days, regardless of the invite, I could book into a cancelled slot.
