I've moved and my buddy ophthalmologist used to do my exams for free. I'm in search for a new place to get contacts and I don't carry vision insurance (as I believe it is cheaper to pay out of pocket and shop for contacts online).

Does America's best only fit you to their house brand? Or will they fit you to any contacts you want? I know there may be some sales pitches towards their house brand, which is ok, just as long as I get what I want in the long run.
