I’ve had my symptoms for several years but my pcp wouldn’t send me to rheumatology even though my ANA was positive. Last year after my missed-miscarriage of my twins at 8 weeks is what I think pushed my body to increase in symptoms. Finally got rheum referral and diagnosis after more tests and bloodwork

I’ve been suspecting it a while but just needed a confirmation basically.

Flare question - The last two-three weeks have been very stressful. Mom in hospital for heart issues and then this Monday around 7am she fell and hit her head and got two very big skin tears on both her knees. (Her foot got caught in her blanket and she went flying - his her dresses near her temple and under her chin)

I had a flare starting last Friday already and it quickly progressed to widespread. Monday was the worst pain in a while. That’s also the day she fell. Today finally feels like I’m on my way out of it. My main symptoms is all that remains and it’s much more mild.
Is it normal to have flares that last 5-6 days? I’m wondering if it wouldn’t have lasted this long had I not had the extra stress?
I’ve had flares where it’s 2-3 days before symptoms start to go back to baseline but this one lasted double.
Just getting others opinions who have had this for much longer than me. I’m trying my best to learn so I can track and know what to do to help myself calm my system
