For reference, we have a family of chipmunks that like to stay under our floor. We don't know how they always come back, but they do. I heard a sudden, high pitched squeal from the corner followed by these sounds. Do you think my snake just heroically schmurdered a chipmunk? She's pretty large. I don't know what normal chipmunks sound like or if they could just be playing.

Found him indoors in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, USA. He is very small, probably the size of a fingernail.
