I recently got a Crush80 Reboot Pro directly from wobkeys's website, and here i am trying to review this beautiful thing:

  1. The shipping

Honestly, i thought i was going to wait the standard 10-14 days, instead i was pleasantly surprised to have it received in ~5 working days excluding weekends

  1. What's inside the "box"

First of all you don't really get a box in that sense, you actually receive a carrying case that contains everything inside, so if you want to bring the keyboard somewhere, you already have the carrying case ready. You get way too much for the price you pay honestly, even an aluminum plate if you want to change the sound of the board a little, aside from the usual switches, cable, manual and plastic cover for the board.

  1. The Sound

Sound is subjective and nobody can say the opposite, but i'm sure 80% of people will find the sound of the board pleasantly nice, it's a nice creamy/poppy/thocky profile that makes it very enjoyable to type on thanks to the light switches too (Kailh Cocoa 45g switches). I haven't tried with the aluminum plate/different switches/foamless because i don't need to

  1. The performance

I can confirm that this thing is hella fast despite being a mechanical keyboard, to the point where i believe wobkey in saying that it has 2ms response time in wired and 4/5 in wireless 2.4ghz although i do not have a physical measuring tool to see if they are telling the truth. I usually use a game called "Brawlhalla" to see if a keyboard is truly responsive with a spam of sprint/dash jumping, because this action can be done with low latency only. I played a couple of ranked games with wireless only and was able to perform just like i wished.

  1. Wireless connectivity

While the keyboard has support for wireless and bluetooth, the switch is located under the caps lock, HOWEVER that's not the whole story, if you have it turned on in wired mode, you can easily switch modes with just pressing FN + Tab meaning you don't really have to turn on the switch under the keycaps, different matter if the keyboard is not turned/powered on by wired already, in that case you'd have to actually turn on the switch.

  1. Wireless range

2.4 ghz range SERIOUSLY sucks, i thought i received a faulty unit at first because of how many times it was disconnecting from the dongle, making it impossible to use it wirelessly. Turns out this keyboard, while on paper it is 2.4 ghz, at the same time the dongle has to be incredibly close to the board to function properly, i had it under my desk where pc sits and had continous disconnection, i decided to then put in in my usb hub on the desk where my keyboard is and now it's working marvelously

  1. VIA

Now, VIA is awesome that's for sure, however even after a firmware update of the board, i was not able to get rid of these two errors when i select the board, doesn't matter if it's wireless or wired mode:

I don't know the root cause of this, but despite that the majority of the features seem to work, macros for example (you need to create them on your own with the keycodes) but rgb didn't seem to want to work on VIA, so for that i end up using the board directly to control that. Remapping works tho

  1. Keycaps

The keycaps while looking nice are average in my opinion, but they do their job, you can always change them in aftermarket ones if you don't like them

  1. Stabilizers

They are honestly perfect aside from a little ticking from the spacebar on the right side, but unless you literally only press that side to verify this, in normal day you won't even notice so nothing to really complain either. I said they are perfect on this board, but on another one they may sound bad

Overall i paid ~171 USD (147 Eur) for this board and i think it deserves all of the money.
