I just want to know, if anyone had/has a baby around this age and with this issue, how did you solve it? I would love to reduce the wakings to like max 2 😩 he is healthy btw.

I love chocolate chip cookies and that’s pretty much all I crave when I’m craving sweets, so I make them often. I also typically love to try different recipes from all over the internet (with good reviews and yummy pics). Problem is I want my cookies to be a little thick. Not levain thick but like…I want them not to deflate when they come out the oven. They’ll puff up nice in the oven and then flatten after coming out. Not like super thin or anything but not as thick as I’d like. I know this science and that’s supposed to happen for the most part but what can I do to get that thicker cookie? My baking soda and baking powder are still good btw (I tested them). Maybe my oven temp is off so I’m going to test that tomorrow. I always refrigerate. Does a cookie that’s made in a mixer come out with more structure than one that you mix by hand perhaps? Softened but still cool butter recipes better than those recipes calling for browned butter (which is cooled afterwards ofc)? I mean it should be the same as long as the butter is firmed up again right? Really craving this cookie!! Thanks in advance!
