Hey,

I'm a freelancer with an extensive background in driving sales( from start to finish ) in startups on the IT- / Digital solutions niche.

I can help you with honing and smoothing the different processes of outreach. ( Perfecting different forms of cold contact ). I've constructed a method that has given me proven results in my own outreach.

If you need to increase the quality of your customers and /or increase lead gen, let's have a talk and see how I could help you out!

We all know good quality prospects and good quality meetings will result in good quality clients, which is a marathon, not a sprint. So this is not for you if you look for quick clients and quick cash. Quick way is a quick way to dry out. It is not sustainable.

I am here for long term growth and meaningful relationships & network.

DM or comment and let's get to work!

Title says it all, I have been ruminating on this subject for a while and here's my few(a lot more than that) cents..

I have to begin this by stating that sales is always oriented and defined by the sellers values and beliefs.

For context: I have been doing work and I specialize in this niche. ->Sales pipeline. Which there are many different streams as we know. But one of the oldest and reliable ones is email. We've had it for so long now, and everyone has one. You still get some of your invoices there, right?

I've noticed that most often people have their email notifications on, unlike some other apps or platforms.

But the thing is, we get so much spam now. And in the age of AI, everything is written exactly the same. The structure- The title- The pain points, everything down to the T is just generic.

Exactly like those early 20's Youtube "Copy-Gurus"( No shade throwing here ) that explain -> Yeah dude, just tell them you're fat and tell them this is the solution, just use AI to write and send. That's 0 effort. 0 Thought.

Let me open this one a bit ->

You are outreaching like this. Think for a second what kind of person you are attracting.

Someone that has a poverty / broke mindset is immediately triggered by those empty pain points and reassurance of "here's the solution"

But not one who is a solid, emotionally stable business person. They can see through that. '

Will that client/customer be with you long term? They came into your business out of fear.

A good quality client will come to you out of trust and faith in your value, and they will stay with you much more longer, and give your name to their network with enthusiasm.

Getting that spam email " You just lost one client ", might be just laughable at this point.

I've had tremendous success going back into simplicity and groundedness.

Just an example one day - A prospect had a a number that went into a switchboard op. and I asked to forward them to my prospect by name ( I would also have something to say about switchboard calls, it's just fucking easy, people make it over complicated, but that's a story for another time. ) And then the operator returned to me with " Sorry, the decision maker is not taking any calls from switchboard. " Alright, at one point in my history, i would have just dropped it and moved forward. That's a dead end lead right. WRONG.

I dug up the prospect's email and sent him this.

-----------------------------------------
TITLE: Introduction company & company

Hey x,

I hope your week has been fantastic,

I tried to call you before with this topic;

yaadi yaadi yaada.

NOTE: Here comes the key part:

would it be impossible to go through a max 15 minute introduction where we would align and see what kind of value we could bring to you?

Here's a few dates:

Day- Time

Day- Time

Day- Time

NOTE: Here comes the MASTER key part:

If none of these fit in your slot, I kindly ask you to return to me with a date that suits you best?

Wishing you the best:

Name

---------------------------------------------

that's it.

And for sure enough 20 minutes later I got a reply by him. He told me this day works great for me. and there it is.

I could have gone through and write it with AI and it would've been something completely different..

( why is asking important? - "If none of these fit in your slot, I kindly ask you to return to me with a date that suits you best?" - Because you are asking them politely, people don't want to be rude, unless they just are. But then again, if they are, then that's not the ideal client to work with anyway. and also it's much harder to say NO to kindness. If you ask, would you want x & y, most often they just say NO. But if you say is it impossible, they say, well it's not impossible. )

This is just too simple to work right?

some key notes I've learnt from Email outreach.

SIMPLICITY - WRITE LESS - DON'T OVER PROMISE - DON'T LIE - BE MYSTERIOUS - BE ATTRACTIVE - DON'T BE NEEDY -

It just works. Trust me. Be more human in your outreach, be more normal. Remember that you are contacting REAL people, and REAL people want REAL connections. That's how the world operates.

I would have piles more of examples of my cold outreach that just works. But it wouldn't fit on this one post.

I just want to tell you guys and gals of freelancer's that sell your own service, to be more authentic. Don't be afraid to say things and do things the way that feel good to you, but don't sound like the latest trend of the Gurus.

Keep up the good work and learn in the process. Don't take L's personally, but take them and be better.

Good luck to all of you.

- A
