I just started my world today so i started with military sytem and noble families so let get started :
In my world, mana is a universal force that exists within all humans, but it has no fixed form on its own It only gains meaning through how it is trained, controlled, and expressed. Every culture and discipline shapes mana differently, turning it into either raw physical enhancement or structured magical techniques.
Knights : are warriors who bind mana to the heart. This makes their power instinctive and physical tied closely to emotion and survival. When they fight, mana strengthens their bodies directly, sharpening strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance Their power is immediate and reactive often surging under pressure or emotion making them deadly in close combat and chaotic battlefields.
Mages : on the other hand, anchor mana in the mind. Their strength comes from thought, focus, and control. Instead of enhancing the body they shape mana into external phenomena spells, barriers, illusions, or elemental effects. Their power is precise but demands concentration, making them dangerous when given preparation and space.
Society : is organized through great ducal families, each governing a domain and shaping its own military tradition. Within these houses, people progress through ranks that define their role in war. Most begin as soldiers, forming the basic structure of armies with limited mana use and strict discipline. Those who prove themselves become warriors, capable fighters who have begun to develop real control over their abilities.
Beyond them are semi-knights, advanced trainees who are close to full recognition and begin specializing in a combat path such as cavalry, infantry, or ranged warfare. Half knights are officially acknowledged elite fighters, trusted with serious missions and battlefield roles, though still tested before full acceptance. Knights stand at the peak of this system within a house fully refined warriors who represent their family in war, leadership, and reputation.
Each ducal house specializes in a different form of warfare and carries a distinct culture shaped by generations of tradition. Some value speed and aggression through cavalry warfare, others prioritize endurance and formation through infantry, while others focus on precision through archery or secrecy through assassination. Strategy, trade, and intelligence based houses also exist, shaping wars indirectly through planning, resources, and influence.
Bloodlines within these houses are not sources of magic power, but rather inherited tendencies shaped by centuries of training. Some lineages are naturally more suited to speed, others to endurance or precision, but all abilities still depend on discipline and personal effort rather than destiny alone.
