Very clear yung disparity sa approach ng dalawang groups ngayong campaign period.

One group is already maximizing the campaign season: doing room-to-room, strengthening their branding, pushing messages about a “more transparent USC,” and making their #TayoAngSimula campaign highly visible.

Meanwhile, the other group, mostly independents, seem more focused on mobilizing people for the 12NN walkout for justice for Alyssa. When they did RTR sa amin sa Econ kanina, they did not center themselves or their platforms. Instead, they talked about Negros, the daily struggle of farmers earning so little, and the injustice Alyssa experienced.

I’m not saying one side is automatically right or wrong, but the contrast in priorities is obvious. While some are fully utilizing every campaign day available, others are putting immediate attention on an issue that currently weighs heavily on the UP community.

Maybe personal observation lang, but I honestly wish campaign season sana ay move at least after the walkout para it could have taken a backseat first while the call for justice is still urgent and fresh. Right now, this feels like the real issue on campus, more than slogans or branding.

My condolences to Alyssa. Justice for her.
