I have the screenshots of the conversation between me and this person who claimed to have purchased my entire wishlist (all nonperishable food items). Amazon even said that they were purchased. But today I didn't get anything so I sent them a message. He says oh that's weird it says that they were delivered today. So I asked him for a screenshot of the delivery photo but he didn't produce one. He said hold on let me see. Then finally he comes back to say omg I'm so sorry I delivered it all to my own address. So I apologized and told him thanks anyways and sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused. And he says no worries have a good night.

Like.... I waited all day for this food to show up at my house. While I could have used my only day off of work to maybe find a food bank or do something to actually help my family, I was under the impression that someone had actually helped me out so I waited... And waited... And waited...

I feel so STUPID right now. Discouraged. I usually don't cry but I am at this moment because I just feel defeated.

Is this a common scam or something to get recognition or something?

Hello, I posted last night about my situation for those interested in my circumstances. We would have utilized food banks or pantries in the area if they were open at a time when we weren't working however that did not line up for us at all this week. I did post a wishlist on a different subreddit last week, however, it was only for cat food. They are my priority and they are absolutely taken care of ❤️

*I got in this situation because we got a $1,000 water bill a couple months back and we are currently fighting to get an investigation on the circumstances. Also, my mother lives in an assisted living facility and she's been hospitalized for heart problems so I've been traveling back and forth from there when I'm able to. She is also a priority for me. She is on disability and the ALF takes the whole check so I have to ensure that she is eating and has the essentials she needs.*

I want to thank whoever took the time to read this and whoever helps out. And if it's something you do, I could use a prayer or two. God helps me navigate this chaotic life every moment of every day. Thanks again!

I've had cats my whole life but this one has the longest tail I've ever seen on a cat! It's 13-14 inches! I'm certain there's not a problem with that I just came here to see if anyone else's cat might have an extremely long tail as well. This is my (not so little) kitten. He's around 8 months old and I rescued him after his mommy disappeared at 6 weeks old. He is the single survivor kitten of the litter and he rules the house! He's my best friend. He gets neutered in a couple of days. 💗💕
