5 months of hard d work destroyed by Shopify
For 5+ months Shopify did not act on tickets on stale cache and CDN. Stating it would be forwarded to the technical team, 43 weeks later ‘oh, sorry. It never was forwarded.
Having forced them to keep the same ticket open till solved (still issues).
Technically the site is up to par: 97, 96, 96, 100
Google had indexed pages already up to 860 only 350 more to go.
Since 3 weeks backtracking and reduced the previously found pages to 300. The end not in sight.
Effect, this will take months to recover while being in ‘ghost store’ limbo.
Advice for co-merchant: do not accept the numerous deflecting replies from Shopify support. Insist upon keeping the ticket open.
I now submitted a filing to the DSA/DSM as well as the ACM. Including updates and latest amendments.
Paying close to 400 euro just in Shopify fees without having a stable platform is not sustainable.
Anybody else with similar experiences?
