I am wanting to evict my tenant in Mesa, Arizona for non payment l've never done this before, and I wanna make sure these are the correct steps:
We posted a note on her door and sent the same note via certified mail.
My understanding is that we need to wait five days for her to respond. I don't think she's going to respond. I have a feeling she no longer lives at the property and is completely ghosting me - I was willing to let her out of the lease, but she is just ghosting.
We go to the court house. Here is where I'm confused regarding the server process- do they need to attempt multiple times before we can move forward?
I am in contact with a server who is telling me that if I do the expedited process, they can put a note on her door that same day and it will count as her being served. Does anyone know if this is true?
She has also changed the locks without my approval and has not given me a copy of the new keys
