Hi!
So I'm struggling with a bit of a mystery. 3 months ago, out of nowhere, I started to feel like I needed to pee all day long. I also had general discomfort in my lower abdomen. I went to the doctor and first got meds for a UTI. Nothing changed after 2 rounds, so I got meds for a yeast infection. After treating that for 4 weeks, there was still no change. At this point, the discomfort had turned into a period like cramping and the feeling of needing to pee all day just keeps getting more intense. I also have this constant feeling of pressure between my legs. I have been 'bladder training' and only go 5 or 6 times a day, so my bladder is not the issue.
I read another post here of people with the same problems, that disappeared after stopping the pill. I've been on the pill for about 7 years, but stopped 3 weeks ago to give it a try. At this point I'm willing to try anything. S*x has also become impossible, as it produces a very sharp pain.
Problem is, since stopping the pill, the pain has gotten so much worse. No NSAD's help and it's gotten to the point where I can't sleep because of the pain. Can there be any correlation between stopping the pill and the symptoms getting a lot worse now? I have no clue what to think about all of this or how to make it stop. Any input is very much appreciated 🙏🏻
