Hello all this isn't my first post about tone and tuning and it probably won't be my last but I feel like I'm loosing my mind. I've been trying to get the proper tone for just like a woman live at sin e and I've been told its open e all this time and open e was too high pitched but I tried it with open d and a capo on the first fret and it sounds almost identical to the recording. However this is really bothering me because to my knowledge jeff never used capos unless it was for hallelujah or something like that, never for Dillon covers, so I'm confused how he got that tone capoless, I'm hoping someone could shed some light on this.
