Rattling in neutral with clutch out

2009 Ford Mondeo 1.8 TDCi manual, around 140k.

Got a rattling noise in neutral with clutch released. Noise changes depending on clutch pedal position and sometimes quiets down once warm. There is also a different noise while driving at low RPM but it’s not very noticeable.

One mechanic says dual mass flywheel. Another says gearbox/input shaft bearing.

Car still drives and shifts fine. No gears jumping out or crunching.

What sounds more likely from these symptoms?
Asked another sub, all saying DMF. Would it be more likely than the input shaft? This mechanics fully convinced its the gearbox

AC issues after regas

I have a 2009 Ford Mondeo with 140,000 km on the clock manual 1.8 diesel

I recently bought it fairly cheap, and it runs perfectly apart from the AC. The system would turn on, but the air never got cold, so I took it to a shop that regasses AC systems, and they said the system was completely empty. They pressure-tested it and filled it since it passed the test. The AC then worked perfectly for about 30 minutes before stopping again.

I took it back, and they explained that on older systems, once refilled, the added pressure can sometimes cause a weak seal to fail and create a leak. They checked for leaks using the UV dye they added during the refill but couldn’t find anything. They also connected the machine again, and it showed normal readings with no obvious leak.

They recovered the gas, performed another vacuum/seal test, which it passed, and then refilled it again with the same refrigerant. The AC is now working again.
The garage seemed pretty clueless at this point. Any ideas what could be causing it?
