My friend submitted the OPT request with an overdue recommended i20 (over 30 days). He sent in the withdrawl request, added PP ontop to facilitate the process so he can get the case dropped sooner.

Now he got a biometrics appointment, should he go to the appointment or skip it?

We’re mainly trying to understand how USCIS handle this situation:

- Does the officials look at your documents only when the biometrics appointment is done?

- Or would skipping the biometrics appointment allow the case to be dropped faster?
