Following up on my previous posts about contractors struggling to get paid.

There are apps which already do invoicing, WhatsApp reminders, GST bills — everything a contractor needs on paper.

But when I spoke to actual contractors — almost none of them are using these apps.

Which made me think the problem is not the lack of a tool. Something deeper is stopping them.

Is it trust? Is it habit? Or is the real problem happening even before the invoice — when no clear payment terms were set at the start of the project?

If you have used any of these apps or know contractors who have — what made them stop?
