Hi all. I wanted some advice since I am really unsure of what my next step should be.

I'd like to go to med school in the Northeast (open to DO or MD, more geographically confined) I went to a small liberal arts college for undergrad, achieved a GPA of 3.4, Chemistry major, research, clinical internship, and volunteering all present. MCAT has not been done yet, I am taking 2 gap years before matriculation.

I recently got accepted to Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine MSBS program. 16 month program, focus on emerging technologies in medicine. There is a senior thesis, good faculty, lots of research, LOR. Downside is whether i'd have time for MCAT study, cost is high, and is it needed?

Should I pursue this or just focus on the MCAT and get a part-time MA job at a clinic?
