First time taker here who passed just using BARBRI and critical pass flash cards. I was worried not using adaptibar or uworld as everyone on this sub recommended them, but I didn’t want to spend another $500 for this test. I just wanted to let people know that it definitely is possible to pass just using BARBRI. I finished 100% of the course and completed all the essays in the book. I really recommend doing this as the sample answers helped immensely and I pretty much just remembered and copied them for the real thing. If I had to guess I got at least 75s for all the essays, except the PT. On the Barbri full day mbe practice I got a 68% and on the half day mbe practice I got a 77%. Beware though, the mbe questions on the actual bar are worded a lot differently and are a lot more complex. You have to understand the black letter law instead of recognizing patterns or key words. People on this sub complained after taking the mbe that the questions on uworld and adaptibar were not even similar to the real thing. Still you should do at least 30 practice questions and 2 essays a day which the Barbri daily course sets up for you. I recommend Barbri because of this. Message me if you have any questions!
