Hi, I'm planning to climb Nevado Pisco this June with a friend of mine, and it's our first 'big' climb. We've climbed smaller mountains before in Europe but never one where we needed a guide, or gear apart from good shoes.

I'm looking for experiences with tour operators and any specific advice for a first climb. We're both in good health and regularly excercise (strenght and cardio 2-3 times a week).
