Every time my mom went to an appointment she came home frustrated. She had so much to say going in, but the moment she sat down she would blank on half of it. We tried writing things on paper. The paper got lost. We tried the Notes app. It turned into a wall of text she could not navigate during the visit.
So I built Primer. It is a desktop app where you log symptoms, medications, and questions as they come up, and it generates a clean 2-page summary you can hand to your doctor. Recent symptoms over time, current medications in a table, and a numbered list of things to bring up.
There is also a chat inside it that helps you organize your thoughts and asks the kind of questions a GP might ask. It does not try to diagnose anything, just helps you remember and articulate what you have been feeling.
It has been live for a few weeks. Mom uses it. I am hoping it helps other people or their parents who deal with the same thing.
