I almost got taken for a ride $$$$
I went to my local shop to ask if they had an upper radiator hose for my 2017 Pentastar 1500 w/31k miles. They didn’t, they inspected my truck after I told them it was leaking a bit from the connection to the upper radiator from the hose.
A. They said I needed an entire radiator replacement to the tune of $1,400 including parts and labor.
B. They kept on repeating how low my coolant level was. My coolant level has ALWAYS been between MIN & MAX when cold, dead in the middle which it even was that morning.
Went to the Dealer, got the hose, replaced it myself, no more leak.
