Could it be end of life?

Hi all,

I have written on here many times and I now come with a heavy heart.

My dad 66, suffered yet another seizure but this time it’s focal seizures and only one side (his right) it confuses me so much as he was completely fine that day and after a walk he lost his ability to talk and lost his balance (his tumour was on the left but has had at least 90% removed in March). He wasn’t able to start chemo and radiation as he was unable to consent as the first time weaning off dexamethasone he suffered a seizure, the second time he was too confused and ended up with a chest infection and this time round he was admitted due to non stop focal seizures (this always happens when he is weaned off)

The doctors are unable to understand why this may be happening and can only think it would be down to either the tumour growing again, scarring or brain haemorrhaging.

A part of me thinks this is end of life subtly creeping its way in, he’s on the highest level of anti seizures but he has focal seizures every 10 minutes lasting around 2-3 minutes, at first it started with excruciating pain and now after OxyCodone it’s just constant ticking and glaring into the distant with so much hallucinations. He refuses to eat or drink and also starting to lose mobility in the right side.

I know I can’t be prepared but hoping to hear some stories and just some insight, thank you and praying for your loved ones as always
