Just launched my first SaaS on Product Hunt 🚀

I always struggled staying consistent with money tracking.

Every finance app felt boring…

I’d use it for 2 days and quit.

So I built WealthQuest — a gamified personal finance app that turns money habits into a game.

You:

→ track expenses

→ earn XP

→ complete quests

→ level up

→ get weekly AI insights about your spending habits

The goal isn’t just tracking money.

It’s building awareness, discipline, and healthier money habits in a fun way.

Would genuinely love feedback from people here 🙏

And if you like the idea, an upvote on Product Hunt would mean a lot.

Happy to answer questions or hear brutal feedback too :)

I kept struggling to stay consistent with my finances

Not just tracking
But actually building better habits

Everything felt boring
I’d quit after a few days

So I built something for myself

A gamified personal finance app

Instead of just tracking money
it turns your financial habits into a system

Here’s what it does

  • Log expenses → earn XP
  • Daily money quests to stay consistent
  • Build streaks and level up
  • Weekly AI report that analyzes your behavior
  • Feels more like progression than tracking

Built this while learning and figuring things out
So yeah it’s still early and not perfect

But it works and I’ve been using it myself

Would really love honest feedback from you guys

  • Would you use something like this
  • Do quests + gamification actually help
  • What would make this addictive enough to stick daily

6 months ago, I didn’t know how to code at all.

I started learning, got overwhelmed, quit.
Came back again, quit again.
Did this 4 times.

Every time I’d see people shipping products, I felt like
“I’m just not made for this.”

What changed this time was simple:

I stopped trying to learn everything
and just started building something… even if it was messy.

Picked a small problem I had —
I couldn’t stay consistent with tracking my money.

So I built something for myself.

It broke a lot.
I had no idea what I was doing half the time.
But I didn’t quit this time.

Just kept fixing things one by one.

And yeah… I finally shipped it.

It’s not perfect.
But it’s real.

Would love feedback from people who’ve been through this:

  • What helped you stay consistent while learning/building?
  • Anything you wish you knew earlier?

6 months ago, I had no idea how to code

Not “beginner”… literally zero

I started learning, got overwhelmed, quit
Came back, tried again, quit again
Did this 4 times

Every time I’d see people shipping apps and think
“this is not for me"

But I kept coming back

This time I forced myself to just build something…
even if it was messy

So I picked a simple problem:

I could never stay consistent with tracking my money

Every app felt boring
I’d quit after 2–3 days

So I built my own solution —
a gamified personal finance app

After weeks of breaking things, fixing bugs, restarting…
I finally shipped it

You log expenses → earn XP
Build streaks → level up
Weekly AI report on your money habits

It’s far from perfect
Probably has bugs
Might even break 😅

But it’s live

And honestly, that feels crazy!!

If you’ve ever struggled with consistency (especially with money),
I’d really love your feedback:

  • Would this actually help you?
  • What would make you keep using it?
  • What feels unnecessary?
