Hey all! I have had a 29-gallon tank for AGES and it’s honestly mostly been used for holding stuff for like, almost 6 years. But I’m ready to finally begin! I just have a few questions before I actually get a critter.
- how should I be cleaning this tank to prepare for the fish? Would something like dish soap work or should I be looking for something specific? What about something like driftwood, cups, etc that I might include for like, hidey holes and enrichment?
- what water treatments for tap water should I be looking to get?
- I am looking for some plant recommendations!
- are there any other species that would be good tank-mates? Not just fish, but any little guy!
any tips for dealing with all the poop? ;v;
I don’t have ALL the money in the world, but I’m also gearing UP to start the tank, so there’s no timeline. Thanks!
