Hi all,
I'm getting occupational therapy as part of a multidisciplinary approach. I'm struggling a bit with how to put it to best use.
The sessions usually go as follows. The OT asks me what chores I struggle with, I reply, they read off tips to make it easier (eg, 'cooking' -> "try to take frequent breaks, do the chopping while sitting"). I find such tips tricky to put into practice, as I'm usually too tired to do any chores, I've already implemented most of these tips, and I find thinking too much about optimising rather taxing as well.
It seems to be going in circles, and I can't really put my finger on how to fix it. Mentioning this hasn't worked yet either. Do any of you have any tips, or maybe experiences on how to get more out of these sessions, what to mention, or what they can help with?
Regards,
