What do you think about these preview pics?

Hey guys!
I’d appreciate it if you could take a look and tell me what your first impression is of these screenshots. I’m a real rookie at editing. I tried to do my best with Canva, but I’m not sure if it’s good or not. Still planning to make a new version in the near future.

Development by a Mailman: No-Code, Apple Approved

Hey there!
I was injured a few months ago and had some time to work on myself.
I watched a lot of YouTube videos about "vibecoders" and decided to become one. Today, I’m officially part of the community and just launched my first app on the App Store!
It was a tough journey, but I’m stubborn enough not to give up halfway.
The app is still under development as it needs more polishing, and I’m currently working on upcoming features to make it smoother and more secure (including AES-256-GCM file encryption, PBKDF2 key derivation, and SHA-256 PIN hashing).
I noticed many vault apps protect photos, but almost none protect documents or notes, and I really missed having an in-app private browser so I decided to build my own.
In the future I'm planning to add a database to save all your data, along with an encrypted chat feature between users so I'll implement a Zero-Knowledge architecture for the online database. This ensures that all data is encrypted client-side, meaning only you can decrypt it using your own password. Not even I, as the developer, will have access to your files, staying true to the soul of the app: Zero Knowledge with maximum security.

I’m here to ask you guys to check it out and leave a review (preferably a positive one) to help me out a bit.
In return, I’m happy to help you out too! Just drop a link to your app, and I’ll leave a positive review and a 5star rating!

The "Chill" Period that Changed Everything:
It all started in October 2025. One wrong move, and my back completely gave out. I spent two months bedridden, pumped full of muscle relaxants and painkillers, with the ghost of a spinal surgery hanging over me. I looked exactly like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. My buddy kept making fun of me—he even snapped a selfie to document my misery for posterity. It took me a full hour to limp to the bathroom; I was like a Z-list zombie grandpa.

But during this forced "chill" phase, away from the 9-5 grind, I finally had time to think: How do I break out of this cage?

The "Junkie" Phase and Vibe-Riding:
I stumbled upon the Starter Story YouTube channel and got sucked in: people with zero coding skills building successful apps and generating tens of thousands in monthly revenue. I devoured these stories like my meds. At first, I blew a few hundred dollars on a platform (Base44), only to realize it wasn’t for me—it could only generate web apps, and my ideas were too complex for its limits. I ended up in an endless debugging loop, burning through my credits.

When I told my friends about this world, my ongoing projects, and other people's successes, I got the same reaction from everyone: "You’re just wasting your time and money. You won’t succeed because you don't know what you're doing! Apple is strict—even if you manage to 'vibe' a working app with AI, they’ll never approve it. This is a hard profession; you need years of study before you can call yourself a developer!"

But those words only fired me up even more. If they could do it, so could I!

Then I found Anything AI and Claude (Opus 4.6 / Sonnet 4.6). That was the turning point! It wasn’t a walk in the park, but I hopped on the "vibe horse" and rode it hard (Hyah!). After 6 abandoned projects and nearly $1,000 spent, the "Holy Grail" was finally born.

The Product: SnapWrap – Your Private Vault
My app is a private vault packed with more extras than your typical vault app. It stores photos, videos, notes, documents, audio, contacts, and passwords. It even has a built-in private browser where users can save history as custom-named bookmarks for one-tap access, leaving zero trace on the device.

Life gave me the idea. I’d caught my girlfriend snooping through my phone before (even though she swore she respected my boundaries). So, I added a twist: the app silently snaps a photo with the front camera on failed PIN attempts or when Guest Mode is active.

  • How it works: You activate a "decoy" interface that looks exactly like the real menu. But the moment an intruder taps anything, the app locks, silently captures their face, and logs it in the Security Log with a timestamp and what they tried to access (e.g., “Decoy Interface detected an unauthorized access attempt in your Photos”).
  • Sound Alert Feature: You can set a custom audio file or music. If someone enters the wrong PIN, it plays. Imagine setting a recording like: "Honey, I thought you said you weren't going to snoop!"—the look on their face is priceless while the camera silently does its work.
  • The "Vibe" Essence: This is a Zero-Knowledge app. No cloud, no servers—everything stays strictly on the phone. Morality vs. Curiosity—this app answers who wins.

After so much suffering, I didn't even blink when I read this; I just got straight to work because I was focused on the goal.

The War with Apple Reviewers:
As an unknown, "clueless" developer (I felt like a lost cow with a bell around my neck), breaking into the App Store felt like a war. Apple hated the word "Trap," questioned the intent of my features, and forced me to rename everything. I had to explain every detail carefully, avoiding terms that sounded deceptive or aggressive. After weeks of sleepless nights, red eyes, and mountains of AI-generated "battlefield logic," it finally went through.

The Catharsis:
I was at a pub having gin with my partner, but my mind was stuck on the app. I had submitted the third build for review two days prior—it felt like two years. Then the notification popped up: APPROVED. We jumped and screamed so loud the people around us thought we’d won the lottery. They actually came over to congratulate us and asked how much we won. To me, that moment was worth more than any lottery jackpot.

Words can’t describe how amazing it felt to see this!

Current Status:
My app went live a week ago and I have a few users now, though the numbers are tiny (exactly 3 users!). I’m currently in the phase of constant tweaking and updates. One update has already been accepted, and I’m already working on the next one. Even though the features work perfectly, I’m not satisfied with the onboarding and the App Store preview images yet. Meanwhile, my partner is handling the TikTok and Insta Reels (she’s the pro; I’m even more clueless at that).
The Takeaway:
I’m no writer—you probably figured that out by now—and I still can't code to this day. But Vibe Coding works. If a "simple blue-collar guy" could do it starting from a sickbed, you can too. Just stay persistent, no matter how rocky the road gets, and never let anyone tell you what you are or aren't capable of!

If you have any questions, your own stories, or feedback, I’d love to hear them in the comments!

P.S. Saddle up your vibehorse and prompt toward your goal, even if you fall off a few times!
