Greetings! I'm an old guy post-cancer with one lung. I can only walk short distances at a time. My question is this: is it worth it to rent a mobility scooter for a NOLA vacation? I'm staying at the Ritz for my birthday for 3 nights in late July. I've heard varying things from friends about mobility access in the French Quarter, especially a lack of sidewalk cuts and uneven pavement. Any suggestions welcome.
