The City of Richmond’s Second Annual Neighborhood & Civic Association Summit will bring together Richmond residents, neighborhoods, and civic associations to strengthen community connections, deepen understanding of available government services and resources, and help promote a greater sense of community.

This event is free and open to the public, and residents in attendance will have the opportunity to hear from and meet City leaders working on their behalf

I attended the 4/4 Idealist.org world-wide volunteer event with my small contribution of cleaning up Reedy Creek, RVA.

A dream and an invitation: if some of us, many of us—enough of us—can agree on three simple things, we can unleash a wave of hope and creativity like we've never seen.

Second, what might happen, in our community and around the world, if once a month—on 1/1, 2/2, etc.—we encouraged each other to do one thing to make our corner of the world a bit better?
