Whoever designed this game is sick in the head.
I started off only caring about the stars to complete scenes and just played with the free coins and never cared about all the side quests and other rewards. I would get my coins, play, and win maybe one out of three or four times because there would usually be one card left no matter how carefully or clever I played.
But then I started letting my coins build up for several hours first so I could afford a wild when there was one card left, and then I started winning a lot more often (even though I noticed it often switched from just one card left to two or more). I got to where I only needed one ingredient for the grand prize for the chef quest, which awards 250,000 coins. I had days to get it, and it never gave it to me in a chest or other reward. I finally only had an hour or so left, so I broke down and bought a pack that had what I needed.
Then, I built up that 250,000 to over a million coins by winning all the grand prizes multiple times in the same day.
Then the day reset and the number of levels I had to beat all the quests increased dramatically, like going from 3 wins in a row to 12 for the lowest level of the Pooh Bear streak quest. One of them was winning the epic level 12 times in 30 minutes, which is almost impossible. The contests with "other players" are rigged so that you constantly feel pressured to pay for wilds and extra cards to win at the epic level. I even purposefully tried switching to playing worse and other car was always just one notch in front of me for the third trophy, so I don't think the contests are even against real players. It's all psychological mind games.
I lost all 1 million coins in a matter of days.
Now I have three stickers left to complete all of the sticker packs, with a reward of 800,000, and I have zero incentive to do it because I know what's going to happen. I can almost bet that I will get two of them and only have one more left. Then they will have a paid off that has the card I need.
I just lost a million coins, so why would I care if I get 800,000?
This game is constantly frustrating and even depressing! It's like Lucy and the Football over and over again, always just missing rewards unless you spend a lot of your coins. It is not "fun" in any sense of the word once you get past the lower level scenes, even if you spend money for coins because the game just turns on you so that you have to spend all your coins to win any valuable rewards.
I am now going back to my old strategy and am just focussed on stars to finish the scenes for my freecash offer. F this game.
Who the hell would make a game like this? I have never played anything so diabolical.
