We have another that I intentionally overlooked multiple times as I have a more muted, earth tone, monochrome, toned down taste. I’m not into loud colorways, but I noticed when I looked at my collection there are a select few that have made the cut. The AJ 5 has seen a bit of a resurgence over the last year and this one is a grail for many people. Over the last year almost I have learned that DGC is a sleeper for a couple of models m, the AJ5 being one. I now have a few pairs from DGC and when they are cooking it really shows. Materials can be as good and to my eyes and in hand experience as good as any factory.

Details: Shape to me this is where DGC consistently shines with the AJ5. The best overall shape and toe slope true to retail. If LJR can get this down they would check every box for the AJ5. Materials look to be good on these as all of the DGC pairs that I have are excellent quality.

Color accuracy appears to be close and the tongue is acceptable, the outlining that the jumpman is supposed to be recessed in isn’t pronounced as much as it should be, but this isn’t a call out on foot at all, this is also on LJR, Y3 and GX. Leather is a little wrinkled on one of the ankle pods but I’ve seen this in person on retail pairs no big deal.

I’m excited about getting this pair in hand, I love DGC for 5’s and at this price it’s a no brainer. I wish they would have produced the WG 5. Shape is 1 of my main pillars of expectation and they do not disappoint on the 5’s. Check with SBP if this is one you’ve been considering.

We got another banger from RM. I ordered these bad boys after constantly being influenced by my good friend Excellent _Bar. I had no interest in this colorway as I have multiple royal and storm blue type colorways. He kept saying in hand they hit different. I gotta tell you they hit different when I received QC.

Details: They are all there. Stitching looks good, heel cup, sloped shape (toe may seem thick, but the cut of leather at the toe looks natural) there are no concerns here. Cole accuracy is on point and the swoosh placement on both the lateral and medial side.

LJR continues to impress with the Travis Scott lineup, I know there are suns great contenders such as RSD with specific colorways being the best you can get and others such as PK and the Giant sleeper FK (which I recently purchased and will be reviewing) but these are done exceptionally well.

RM continues to be one of my top 3 go to sellers they haven’t missed! If you don’t hand this colorway you might want you reconsider.

What’s up Dogs! I’ve seen multiple retail pairs of these. Aside from a couple of nitpicks, RN did well on another pair. Shape is good, materials and the colorway is fire, this completes the trio of the Levis 3’s that I wanted. I had to get a couple of pics retaken but these are good! 7EE seems to really be finding their groove. Service was smooth and he included the extra laces that were not shipped for another pair from my last order. Looking forward to getting these bad boys on hand!
