I broke my 5th metatarsal neck a little less than two weeks ago. Confirmed fracture. Doc originally cleared me to go back to work on light duty. Weight bearing as tolerated. Still in an ortho boot/shoe. I have a music festival coming up, and was wondering if anyone here has had experience with a month old foot fracture and attending a music festival or any other event that requires a lot of walking and being on your feet. How did you deal? Any recommendations on tall vs. short ortho boots? Any and all personal tidbits welcome!
