I first read the books without having seen the movies when I was 15, around 2019, and I haven't read them since. But I have read a lot of fanfiction, But over time, details of the canon that only appear in the books are becoming blurred for me.

Did anyone find it tedious to reread canon material after reading Fanfiction, or was it just a simple process?

I think that no matter how much I think about it, I will read it again, but I would like to know about other people's experiences.
