About a month ago, my vet flagged high ALT levels in Archie’s liver and asked me to come back in 4–6 weeks for a recheck. Got the recheck this week and just received the results:
“Archie’s bloodwork results came back and his ALT is still mildly elevated, but has decreased to 158 from 165 at Blue Pearl. The normal reference range is 18-121, so it is a very mild elevation. Since the remainder of his liver values are normal, I would recommend rechecking again in 6 months. If it is still elevated at that time, we can consider performing additional diagnostics.”
Has anyone else seen this with their Frenchie and if so was it related to anything you could control like diet?
