Hi y'all, I had previously posted about a DC, and now I am wondering my options if I decided not to move forward with it, as it feels like my managers are trying to get me out, and I am wondering about if they would offer a severance package in Apple Retail,

I am a TS and have been with the company for about 2 years.

It seems like they are building a case against me, and my manager told me he is considering a misconduct because a customer asked me for my number as we were talking about pc builds and I told him I don't build them for people, but I gave him some good advice and he gave me his phone number.

In the moment, one of my managers told me that is considered "solicitation" and is against business conduct and to make sure I don't do it again. I asked if I was going to be in trouble and all he said was, "I don't think you meant anything by it, but I just want to make you aware". I told him I didn't know that was crossing a line, and I wouldn't do it again. Then didn't hear anything.

The DC talk was last week and is separate from this. I feel stupid for this mistake, but it almost seems like these things are stacking against me, and the timeline is weird given the store closure of the other stores in June.....could be unrelated, but still....

My Store Leader talked to me yesterday about this "misconduct" issue and he said he could have terminated immediately but didn't feel it was necessary but wanted to have a conversation, and asked me if there was "anything he needed to consider from my side" before he goes to the HR partner to decide if he will give me a misconduct for this thing that happened 2 weeks ago as he said "it is ultimately up to him" whether he gives me a misconduct.

I also think he was confused because he had this idea that I had a business, because I do videography on the side, so I have to clarify that with him.

But I told him I have straight up had customer during appointments offer me jobs as "IT consultant" work and I flat out refused because I work at Apple. I feel like this is one of those dumb mistakes "I shot myself in the foot" situations, just because I try to be a helpful/friendly person.

He also said "I don't submit anything for DC unless I think it will get approved and it will be submitted today or tomorrow, then we can have a conversation about what is on it"

This incident was 2 weeks ago, and I didn't even know that my manager was considering this, but in line with also them submitting a DC, it feels like they are just going through the motions of lining their evidence up to fire me.

What can I do? It seems difficult to get approved leave for mental health, and I am on edge since all of these things keep being brought up....Should I go to HR? Or is that another nail in the coffin that will make this worse?

Thanks for reading.
