Hey everyone,I have a UniFi Toolless Mini Rack in my closet with the following gear:
- UDM Pro SE
- Switch Pro Max 24 PoE
- USP-PDU-Pro (the power distribution unit)
Everything is running fine, but I’d like to add some active cooling to keep temps down in the enclosed closet (my 8TB hd is running at 58c, so its not on fire, but its above recommended temp). I’m looking for the easiest fans to integrate into this kit.I can easily power fans via a regular AC outlet or USB-C (I have plenty of ports and outlets available), so power isn’t an issue. I’d prefer something quiet, simple to mount, and relatively clean-looking if possible. What fans or fan kits have you guys had the best luck with on a similar Toolless Mini Rack setup? Any specific models, mounts, or 3D-printed solutions that worked well? Thanks in advance!
Extra context: This is just a standard hallway 9ft tall closet with a few shelves that is central in my San Diego home. There's a decent sized gap under the door and I'd prefer not cutting a hole out of the door for a fan/vent if possible. I may be adding a few more pieces of gear so I wanted to sort some fans or something to help mitigate temps.
