Ok, this isn’t a post trying to question wearing ear protection. Protect your hearing.

I’ve never owned an actual acoustic drumset before, I have had E-kits my whole life.

I’ve been playing drums for 3 years and I play for my schools jazz band so I know my way around an acoustic drumset. My question is how loud are acoustic drums throughout a home? Will my parents be able to hear me from their room if the set is across the house (probably yes but how loud will it be for them?). The walls in my house are pretty thin so I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to hear them from anywhere, but what can I do to make an acoustic drumset as unheard and stealthy as possible while playing? That’s my only worry for buying an acoustic set. Thanks for any help.

I’m 14, and my geometry test is next Wednesday for end of course testing (8 days from now). I was looking at the practice packet and I don’t know how to solve a single question. This is confusing because I feel like I’ve been paying the most attention out of everyone in my class the whole year. I always ask questions and I always try and comprehend things so why do I forget everything I learn two days later? I feel like I’m going to fail this test and I feel defeated. Any help?
