Hi all,

So this might sound stupid or careless, but when trying to fill the application forms for MCA, I followed the same procedure as I did, for BCA. I went on to ipu.ac.in and enrolled for the MCA programme, completed the application and paid the fee. The exam name in my dashboard on the IPU site is "MCA/MCA(SE) NIMCET(Through NIMCET)"

But the problem is, I don't know if this exam is same as the NIT recognised NIMCET(nimcet.admissions.nic.in) that is scheduled to be held on June 6th 2026. From what I have heard from my friends, they think these are the same exam, but I want to be sure, because if they are different, I will apply for the other one too!
