I just wanna start by saying I love my cat till the ends of the earth but I’m so incredibly frustrated right now and I don’t know what to do. I deal with insomnia and have a very difficult time falling asleep but once I’m out I can sleep through the night except when my cat decides she needs attention at 6 am when I only fell asleep an hour previous. She will crawl all over me and try to get under my blankets but when I pull the blanket up so she can go under all she wants is for me to pet her but I can’t, I’m so tired. I try putting her on the ground, taking her out of my room, putting more toys out for her to play with but I’m at my whits end I don’t know what else to do and unfortunately I can’t just close my door because she knows how to open it and if it’s locked she will scratch for hours until she gets in. I’ve slept maybe 6 hours in the past 3 days due to the combination of insomnia and my cat waking me up every 20 minutes she’s also 10 years old and she’s done this forever it’s just recently she’s been so attached and won’t leave me alone for 2 seconds
