Hello everyone, as the title says i have had a steam family running for a few years and its sitting at 3/6 members. Myself, my friend who buys games semi frequently, and my lady who does things to me so she gets a pass (not taking new applicants for a freebie sorry) my irl friends didnt want to link up so now im undecided if i want to risk opening jt to the public or if i should just sit in my safety bubble.

My rules if i allowed anyone to join would be as follows:

  1. Dont do anything to risk the family- no getting any VAC bans or doing shady things to get the family at risk. All it takes is one person to fuck it up for the rest of us
  2. Keep your passwords fresh, change them every few months to protect yourself and the family
  3. Phone call- you and i would call on discord and i may ask some personal questions to get to know you. We are looking for assets not risks. If i feel good about it we will initiate the process- youll give me your login info- i complete it and we are done.
  4. Personal info - during our phone call i may ask to retain some of your personal information (real name, phone number, state of residence) incase something were to happen in the future- i can contact you or snitch you out to steam if i must to fix the family. All info of each member would be saved in a note and only accessed if/when needed though im hoping this extensive vetting process will eliminate any issues before they arise.

My rules are as such in hopes that we can build a prosperous and incredible library that we as a group can enjoy at any time.

I WILL NOT consider anyone with a mediocre amount of games, this post is to expand myself and others not to be a handout. Anyone who hasnt read this whole post and asks for a handout will be ignored.

Im looking for honest, respectable and likeminded individuals who share the same passion for gaming and a similar passion for not wanting to get scammed or screwed over lol.

Just wanted to send this feeler post out and see if anyone would actually be interested/ if theres anything i should be weary of.

Im not decided yet- this is not an official offer to join me- more of a “how many would apply with these rules”
