I have a clarification regarding holidays in 2026 at the Mumbai consulate. This memo (link) mentions that May 28 is a holiday at the Mumbai consulate, while the events calendar at this link mentions that May 27 is Eid. I am asking because I have an O-1 consular appointment scheduled at the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai on May 27, and I am concerned as to whether this appointment will be rescheduled. I would appreciate any clarification, thanks in advance!!

I have my O-1 consular appointment scheduled in Mumbai (India), but I just realized I made a mistake on my DS-160. Specifically, I indicated that an immigrant petition has not been filed on me behalf (I-140). I do have an I-140 pending a decision with USCIS. According to many older posts on this sub, you can take the old and corrected DS-160 to the VAC, and they will update the tag on the passport. Is this still true? Or do I need to book another appointment?
