Species: Dog
Age: 9
Sex: Spayed Female
Breed: French Bulldog mix
Body weight: 27 pounds
History: Has skin allergies and Cushing's with Calcinosis Cutis
Clinical: She is on Trilostane 30 mg per day split into two doses. She has recently been shaking and not eating as much. We did an ACTH test and her Cortisol was much too low. I don't remember the number but below 1.5.
We are holding Trilostane for 7 days and restarting at a lower dose. But our vet doesn't seem sure how much to lower it. Is there a standard of practice for lowering the dose?
Thank you!
